log-in. You will want to bookmark this page as it is where
you will need to return to log-in to the IBBIA Blog to create an
item or what is generally referred to as a post.

Instructions for Posting an Item
1. Go to the
Blog on this page:
http://iabedandbreakfast.com/blog/
2. Scroll
down the right-hand column until you find the word
Meta, click on
Login

Type in your
user name
*If
you have lost your username and password send me an email
and I'll look it up for you. Then, write it down somewhere
and keep it near your computer. (I like using an
inexpensive address book, so I have A-Z, to keep all my
computer items in.)
3. At the
first bullet (top left) you’ll see the words “write a post”
– click on these words
4. Type a
short title, then a short post, then select the category out
of the right-hand column (the system defaults to Misc. -- be
sure to unclick Misc. after you have select your category) then,
click on “Save and Continuing Editing.”
5. If you
like how your words lay on the page, click “Publish.”
6. To view
your post, look at the top header and see the words:

Breakfast Innkeepers Association Blog
(View
site) Click on the words
“view site” and you will see your new post.
To Post a Photo:
- Click on Browse to find the photo on your computer

Give the photo
a Title and Description. Make them short. Use KEYWORDS!

Click
on the UPLOAD button. Once the image is on the screen,
place your mouse on the image and click the left mouse once.
It will bring up a menu. In the center of the menu you'll
see the words "Send to Editor" click on Send to Editor.
Your photo should now be in your post above. Click on the
photo to select its position in the post, then select left,
center, or right alignment from the icons above your post.
(Some of the older computers are not showing the icon bar.
If you are not seeing the icon bar, you should not attempt
to post too many photos as it will be hard to learn to align
them.)
Don't
forget to LINK to your own Web site somewhere in your post.
